Day 6 - What do you want in the future?

Well I suppose like everyone else, I want the obvious things.. a nice house, a good career and eventually marriage, kids and all that jazz

But the things i really want to live for..

Leaving a mark, you come into this life with nothing and you will go out with nothing, well i want to leave something behind, not just lifeless possessions, but memories, creations. You want to be remembered, dont just live until its your time to go, ACTUALLY live. Take every moment and just run with it because you will never know which moments could be your last so if there is an experience to be had then have it, a chance to be taken then take it, who knows it could lead to some of the greatest things that happen in your life.

But really the thing I want most in the future is to be happy.

Day 5 - Write about your dream guy/ girl.

You know.. I don’t think I have one anymore.

But I suppose if i had to write about someone my dream guy would be someone who really does love me, someone charming who has a similar yet completely different music taste, loves art and enjoys all the quirky little things Im into like antiques and records, someone who can be more like a best friend than a lover, someone who is unafraid, completely open and must love to cuddle..<3

Day 4 - Name 10 favourite songs and why you like them.

Keep in mind these are just the first that come to mind, there is no possible way i could ever pick an actual top 10.

1. Body In A Box – City & Colour. This is a rather heartfelt and truthful song it is also one of my favourite C&C songs and i’m glad Dallas told everyone to put thir cameras and phones away when he played it, this songs obviously means alot to him also.

2. Bruised – Jacks Mannequin. Andrew McMahon would have to be one of the most inspiring artists out there, I am so greatful to have had the chance to see him play a few months back and if you have not seen his dvd ‘Dear Jack’ i seriously reccomend you do.

3. Konstantine and Walking By – Something Corporate. I really can’t begin to explain how much these 2 songs really mean to me, they remind me of a person, a place and a moment, all in which were very significant to me, thanks for the memories even tho you may not have any.

4. The Wind Beneath my Wings – Bette Middler. To be honest i actually hate this song so much but it needs to be at the top of my list because of how much it really means to me, this song reduces me to tears everytime i hear it but when i do it’s when i feel the closest to you.

5. Rollin’ and Break Stuff – Limp Bizkit. These 2 song are my party songs and everytime i go out i have to listen to either of them because they just get me pumped for any occasion.

6. I Heart Throbsy -  The Amity Affliction. From the first moment i heard this song many years ago i just fell in love with it and it will always remain one of my fav songs by them, thanks Jukka =)

7. Limousine – Brand New. There are so many amazing Brand New songs i love but this is one i had to single out, the message behind this song has touched so many people in different ways good and bad and to watch Jesse perform this the way he did to a perfectly silent crowd in a sold out room was just one of those moments you can not forget.

8. Sorry About That and Radio - Alkaline Trio. I don’t think anyone understands just how much i love Alkaline Trio, If i could list all of their songs here i honestly would but i opted to list just these two.

9. Self Conclusion and The Tide - The Spill Canvas. Another that was quite difficult to pick favourites but these 2 songs amongst many other Spill Canvas songs have been played countlessly.

10. Still Ill and This Charming Man – The Smiths. What can i say? Morrissey is just pure genius.

This was quite a difficult task picking 10 favourites and now that I am done my head is flooded with plenty greats that I have missed such as The Cure, Journey, Johnny Cash, Nirvana, Rob Zombie and so on.. but once again these are songs from the top of my head or songs that mean alot.
